The EPLAP joint closures are most advanced heat-shrinkable closures for protection of

   cable joints in the telephone network.

The EPLAP closures have an excellent split resistance during application and very

   craft friendly

The glass composite structure of closure offers superior resistance to mecanical abuse

   during and after the installation

An integral metal layer which shrinks with the sleeve protects the joint from moisture

   vapour transmission.

 

The EPLAP joint closure are avaliable in an extended size range having a joint capacity

up to 800 pairs

The kit comes complete with a variable liner,which insulates shapes and dompacts the

joint bundle and the unique three finger clip with hot melt adhesive.

The kit is suitable for non-pressurized,buried or ducted,non-filled or jelly filled,with lead

or polrenthlene sheaths.

Twisting test                            Twist the cable for about 90 expert force 50N(max)

                                            Test item 1should test pass.

 

Dead load                               Load 100010N with the area of round piece of 5

                                            Standing 5min,applying to the upper and bottom surface

                                            Of the wrapped sleeve , inner air pressurized 702kPa.

                                            Then followed test item 1 should pass.

 

Low-temperature impact            inner air pressurized 702kPa.stay at –152 for 4h

                                            Then impact the two ends and the center of the wrapped

                                            Sleeve , with a 1kg steel ball dropping from the height of

                                            2m . Then , followed test item 1 should pass.

 

Vibration test                           vibration frequency 10hz swing 3mm vibrating for 70h

                                            At each of two perpendicularly directions, inner air

                                            Pressurized 702kPa.Then followed test item 1 should

                                            Pass.

 

Pressure-time test                   stay at 232, select one of three groups

a)     210kPa.3h

b)     140kPa.10d

c)     130kPa.28d

 

Resist to environmental             inner air pressurized 702kPa.immerged in 10% lgepal

Stress cracking                    CO-630 at 502 , stay 7days. Then followed I should

                                            Pass, and no visible cracking.
